Detent for Umarex T4E HDP/TP50 Gen1 & Gen2
The factory detent inside the Umarex T4E HDP/TP50 is a small component with an important job: keeping each round correctly retained until the firing cycle begins. As the original part wears, round retention can become less consistent and projectiles may drop out the barrel.
The PRINT-FORCE detent is designed for the full-size Umarex T4E HDP/TP50 Gen1 and Gen2. Manufactured from high-quality 95A TPU, it combines firm retention with controlled flexibility, allowing the detent to flex as the round passes and return to shape afterward.
Two detent sizes are available so the part can be matched to your setup. Choose 12.5 mm for the HD-24 tuning barrel, or 12.7 mm for the original stock barrel.

INSTALL_SEQ
Installation
01
Ensure the marker is safe
Remove the CO₂ cartridge or make sure the marker is completely depressurized before installation. Always work on an unloaded marker. Then start by removing the screws from the polymer body to open the housing.
02
Open the clamshell carefully
Carefully open the internal clamshell assembly. Internal spring-loaded components may be under tension, so keep the assembly controlled while opening it and make sure no small parts can move or fall out.
03
Install Detent
Remove the barrel and original detent, then install the PRINT-FORCE replacement in the same position. Make sure the detent is seated correctly around the barrel before placing the assembly back into the clamshell.
04
Reassemble & Function Check
Check that the barrel, detent and internal spring-loaded components are correctly seated and aligned. Close the clamshell evenly, reinstall the assembly into the polymer body, and tighten the body screws evenly. Perform a basic unloaded function check before use.

Why 95A TPU?
Controlled Flexibility
95A TPU is firm enough to retain the round while still flexing as the projectile passes the detent. That balance makes it well suited to a small part that must hold position without behaving like a rigid stop.
Secure Retention
The elastomeric material maintains controlled contact with the round and helps reduce unwanted forward movement before the firing cycle begins, supporting consistent retention in the barrel.
Shape Recovery
After being deflected by a passing round, TPU naturally returns toward its original shape. This repeatable flex-and-recover behavior is exactly what the detent needs during normal loading and firing cycles.
