Heavy Duty Magazine Spring for Umarex T4E TP50 Compact Gen1 & Gen2

This tubular magazine spring is a durability-focused upgrade designed to improve feeding reliability over the factory-installed spring. While the original spring can be relatively light and may suffer from fatigue when the magazine is kept loaded over time, this Heavy Duty version is engineered to maintain consistent performance under sustained compression.

Heavier rounds are held and fed more securely, ensuring a consistent and reliable cycle during firing. This makes it ideally optimized for heavy ammunition such as 8g steel .50 caliber balls, where higher feed pressure is critical for reliable operation.

Installation

01
Ensure the marker is safe
Remove the CO₂ cartridge or make sure the marker is completely depressurized before installation. Always work on an unloaded marker. Then start by removing the screws from the polymer body to open the housing.
02
Disassemble Clamp Shell (Caution)
Carefully open the clamp shell. Be aware that once the metal shell is opened, the bolt spring and follower with spring may be under tension and can pop out. Control all parts carefully during opening of the clam shell to prevent loss or damage.
03
Install Heavy Duty Spring
Remove the original spring and follower and replace it with the PRINT-FORCE Heavy Duty Spring. Ensure it is seated correctly inside the tube and moves smoothly without twisting or binding.
04
Reassemble & Function Check
Reinstall the the follower and the new spring make sure the bolt spring, detent, barrel are all correctly seated and aligned before fully tightening the clamp shell screws evenly. Place the clamp shell assembly back inside the polymer grip/body. Reinstall the outer body and ensure all screws correctly seated and aligned before fully tightening the body.

Why Stainless Steel?

Consistent spring tension
Stainless spring steel maintains stable elasticity over repeated compression cycles. This ensures reliable feeding pressure from first round to last without loss of force or “spring fatigue” or rust over time.
Fatigue & corrosion resistance
Designed for high-cycle compression use, stainless spring steel resists permanent deformation and oxidation. This is critical inside tubular magazines where moisture, CO₂ residue, and handling stress are present.
Reliable feed
Precise force control. Too weak can cause misfeeds or inconsistent feeding, while too strong can cause double feeds and increased system stress. This Heavy Duty stainless spring is designed for heavier ammo, providing a stable, tuned balance for consistent follower movement and reliable feeding performance.
